New Partnership for GT CUP Championship and SONAX

GT Cup Championship and Anglo American Oil Company (AAOC) are delighted to announce SONAX as a long term GT Cup partner. Launching at the GT Cup event at Oulton Park, SONAX will be featured on all GT Cup entrants as part of a three-year partnership deal.

SONAX develop market-leading car care products for personal and professional use and are currently available in the UK through their sole distributor: Anglo American Oil Company. A family business that can trace its roots back to 1903, SONAX has evolved into a globally renowned brand with a research team dedicated to improving its products. There is also a historic motorsport link for the company, with a rich heritage in the DTM from 1990 through to the 2021 season with ABT Sportsline, as well as representation in Formula One.

As part of the deal, SONAX branding will be featured on each GT Cup entrant with stickers on the front and rear number plate area of the car. Bute Motorsport's Chris Haynes said “We are thrilled to be running the SONAX branding on our cars for the rest of this season and into 2022-23. We already have a strong relationship with Anders [Hildebrand] and AAOC through their supply of Sunoco fuel to the championship and it's fantastic to be able to extend that through this new association with SONAX."
