John Dhillon and Aaron Scott upgraded to Full Season

The GT Cup is delighted to welcome John Dhillon and Aaron Scott to the list of full-season entrants for 2020. Following a clean sweep in the opening round at Snetterton, Dhillon saw fit to upgrade their entry and will now take part in all four remaining weekends this year.

Dhillon brings plenty of GT racing experience with him to the championship, having raced Ferraris and Porsches in various championships over the last few years. He last raced with the GT Cup in 2018 where alongside Aaron Scott he took two wins and four podium finishes from his six races.

Fast forward to the opening round at Snetterton, where Dhillon and Scott Sport dominated the GTC group in their tiger-striped Ferrari 488 Challenge. Four wins from four, as well as two pole positions and four sets of fastest laps – it was a perfect weekend for Dhillon and Scott. With the upgrade to a full-season entry, the pair are now eligible to fight for the overall and GTC Group championships. With 92 points, Dhillon is leading the Group GTC title fight, and sits just two points behind current overall points leaders Ben Clayden and Sam Randon.

The GT Cup returns to racing this weekend as the championship heads to Silverstone where Dhillon and co-driver Scott will no doubt be looking to extend their GTC championship lead and mount a fresh attack on the overall title.
