GT Cup Headlines Brands Hatch GP

Following the recent announcement that GT World Challenge Europe are postponing their May Brands Hatch event, the GT Cup Championship has made a slight adjustment to their 2021 calendar.

The championship will maintain the same weekend round but will change to a one-day GT Cup headlined event on the 1st of May with support races from Porsche Club and the 7 Race Series. The organisers have secured extra track time for competitors. Practice and qualifying will both be extended to 20-minute sessions followed by two 50-minute pit stops races in the one day. As the headline championship, the GT Cup will also gain use of the main Brands Hatch pit complex.

Due to COVID restrictions will still be in place but be sure to follow Motorsport UK and the MSVR website for the latest UK updates.

The GT Cup 2021 season will kick off as planned at Donington Park early next month on the 10th & 11th April.
