Peterborough based AGN Composites who provide a host of top-level Le Mans, GT3 and LMP teams carbon fibre repair, advanced repair, reverse engineering and small-scale production of carbon fibre parts have teamed up with the GT Cup Championship for the 2019 season as their official composites partner.
AGN composites who’s three founding members bring over 50 years of motorsport experience as a trio, specialises in using pioneering 3D scan technology to deliver to its customers high-quality carbon fibre and composite repairs. This dramatically reduces scrappage of damaged parts and costly replacements, with new items leading to material cost savings for their customers.
AGN also reverse engineer existing parts providing customers with carbon fibre replacements for parts, that are hard to find or no longer available, a service that has grown in popularity in the Group C and Classic F1 paddocks. The firm offers a complete end to end service with parts collections, express turn arounds, paint services and deliveries back to the customer.
AGN has built a formidable reputation at the highest level of Sportscar racing throughout European competition, and top flight domestic GT and Prototype racing and by partnering with the GT Cup Championship is looking to bring its advanced repair and reverse engineering services to another corner of the sport.
Sales Director Alex Mortimer commented “The GT Cup Championship has grown and grown across the years and includes a whole host of contemporary GT3, GT4 and Cup class cars that all can benefit from the services we offer. As such it was a logical step to partner with them so that we can deliver probably the most streamlined composite and repair services available in the market to its customers”.
Commercial Manager Christopher Thorn commented "We are delighted to welcome Alex and his team at AGN Composites as official partners of the 2019 GT Cup Championship. With such a diverse paddock of GT cars and friendly teams this season we are confident everyone can benefit from their fantastic services, and we look forward to introducing Alex at the next round in little over a week."
AGN will be present on the Sunday at GT Cup rounds where they will be more than happy to discuss any carbon and composite needs that GT Cup drivers/teams have and provide no-obligation quotes to give parts that previously may have been thought to be scrap a second lease of life.
