2024 GT Cup Championship Calendar Dates
Bute Motorsport are excited to announce the provisional 2024 GT Cup Championship Calendar featuring seven action-packed weekends at some of the UK's best circuits.
The season itself kicks off at Donington Park in April, as has become somewhat tradition. The visit to the Leicestershire circuit marks the first of two events, starting with the National layout. Brands Hatch follows a month later as our teams will return to the iconic GP loop as part of a GT Cup headlined event.
In June, the series heads to Norfolk for the first of two visits to Snetterton on the 300 circuit, with Oulton Park following in July headlining the ever-popular Super Car Pageant. Silverstone GP once again plays host for our fifth weekend at the end of July.
The season features a summer break before returning in mid-September for the penultimate weekend at Donington Park, this time on the full GP circuit. We draw to a close in October with a return to Norfolk for the grand finale at Snetterton.
The championship will also be hosting an exclusive pre-season test day in March of 2024, with the exact date to be confirmed in due course.
Following the success of the Free Practice and Qualifying format change this year, the championship will retain that format for the 2024 season. Entrants will start each day with back-to-back Free Practice and split Qualifying sessions of 15 minutes each instead of the previous 10 minutes, before a 25-minute Sprint and 50-minute Pit Stop race later.
The prize structure will also remain the same for 2024 and entrants will be competing for a variety of titles, including the Overall, Group and Team Championships as well as the Sprint and Sporting Challenges.

“Throughout the season, we have been gathering feedback and it’s fantastic to hear that teams continue to enjoy our offering as a championship. As part of that, 2024 will feature dedicated GT Cup testing ahead of each event as well as the exclusive test day at the start of the season. We hope to continue improving our live coverage across Facebook and YouTube and will again be celebrating our 2024 champions at the annual awards night at the end of the season.”
