The Bute Motorsport GT Cup

Welcome to the GT Cup, a fresh approach to GT racing for drivers who want competitive racing, a great atmosphere, lots of track time and racing without having to share a car or compete against professional drivers.

Each meeting will have two races between 25 to 30 minutes with free practice at most rounds in addition to qualifying. The season includes eight premier rounds at some of the best circuits in the UK including Brands Hatch GP, Donington GP and Silverstone International Circuit.

Entry to the GT Cup is by invitation, with the series being designed for production GT cars below FiA GT3 specification. Entries will be controlled to exclude cars which do not fit the spirit of the GT Cup and to maintain close racing.

Racing for genuine Production GT and Closed Top Sports Cars. No Sports Racers or Prototype cars. Entries open to: Ferrari, Porsche, TVR, Ginetta, Morgan, BMW, Marcos, Aston Martin, Lotus, Nissan, Mustang.

Fully Televised

Each round of the GT Cup will be filmed for a dedicated half hour program being shown at prime time on MotorsTV. Gemma Scott will be the track side presenter for driver and team interviews with race commentary. Footage will include in car and track side action from around the track as well as presentations and paddock news.

Hospitality

Each round will feature the GT Lounge, a high specification 120 seater hospitality centre where refreshments will be available all day and lunch served every day of the meeting. Corporate Hospitality packages will be available, email us for more information.
