Scrutineering Procedure – 2022 Season

Ladies & Gentlemen,

Physical safety scrutineering will be reintroduced for the 2022 season on all competitor cars.
However, as we are running under the MSVR banner, the process will be reintroduced on a
staged basis whereby a percentage of cars at each event will be physically scrutineered from
the opening round. This will continue until all cars will have been inspected by the end of
June. From that point onwards, every car will be inspected at every event.

Specifically, safety items such as seat belts, fire extinguisher systems and cut-off switches
will be very strictly monitored, and any non-conformities will result in cars being excluded.
We highlighted the introduction of the new cut-off regulations last year in the Sporting and
Technical Regulations so you will already be familiar with these requirements.

MSUK scrutineers will be prioritising this area this year.

However, it would be prudent to ensure that your cars, as well as driver equipment, are all
compliant from Day 1.
